1. Introduction

Welcome to The Good Place Wellness. By signing up to join our wellness and recovery services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your access to and use of The Good Place Wellness services, including any content, functionality, and services offered by The Good Place Wellness Pty Ltd. Please read these terms carefully before enrolling in our services.

2. Membership and Fees

2.1 Membership Integration

Your membership with The Good Place Wellness is an add-on service to your existing gym membership. By signing up, you agree that a weekly fee of $30 will be added to your current gym membership fee. This additional charge will be billed in the same manner and on the same schedule as your regular gym membership payments.

2.2 Payment Terms

The $30 per week fee is non-refundable and will be charged regardless of your attendance or use of The Good Place Wellness facilities during any given week. By enrolling, you authorize your gym to automatically deduct this fee from your account along with your standard membership dues.

2.3 Changes to Fees

The Good Place Wellness reserves the right to adjust the weekly fee with 30 days’ notice. Any fee changes will be communicated to you via email or through your gym’s member communication channels.

3. Services Provided

3.1 Access to Facilities

As a member of The Good Place Wellness, you will have access to our wellness and recovery facilities, which may include, but are not limited to:

• Infrared sauna
• Ice bath therapy
• Red light therapy
• Theragun massage
• Guided breathwork sessions

3.2 Equipment Use

You are expected to use all equipment and facilities responsibly and in accordance with any instructions provided by The Good Place Wellness staff. Misuse of equipment may result in suspension or termination of your membership.

4. Health and Safety

4.1 Health Requirements

By participating in The Good Place Wellness services, you affirm that you are in good health and have consulted with a healthcare professional regarding your ability to engage in these activities. If you have any medical conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular issues, are pregnant, or have recently undergone surgery, you must seek medical clearance before participating.

4.2 COVID-19 and Infectious Diseases

Members are required to comply with all health and safety guidelines, including those related to COVID-19 or other infectious diseases. This may include wearing masks, social distancing, and following personal hygiene protocols. If you exhibit any symptoms of illness, you agree not to attend the facilities until you are symptom-free.

4.3 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that participating in wellness and recovery activities involves inherent risks, and you assume full responsibility for any injuries, health conditions, or damages that may occur as a result of your participation.

5. Cancellations and Suspension

5.1 Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your The Good Place Wellness membership at any time with 7 days’ notice. To cancel, you must contact your gym’s membership services. The cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle. Please note that no refunds will be provided for partial weeks of service.

5.2 Temporary Suspension

If you need to temporarily suspend your membership due to medical reasons or other valid circumstances, you may request a suspension of your weekly fee. Such requests must be made through your gym and accompanied by appropriate documentation.

5.3 Termination by The Good Place Wellness

The Good Place Wellness reserves the right to terminate your membership for any reason, including but not limited to non-compliance with these terms, misuse of facilities, or inappropriate behavior. In such cases, no refunds will be provided.

6. Personal Information and Privacy

6.1 Collection of Information

By signing up for The Good Place Wellness services, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your personal information by The Good Place Wellness and your gym. This information may include your name, contact details, and payment information.

6.2 Use of Information

Your personal information will be used solely for the purpose of managing your membership, processing payments, and improving our services. The Good Place Wellness will not share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or with your consent.

6.3 Data Security

The Good Place Wellness is committed to protecting your personal information and will implement reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Good Place Wellness and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your participation in the wellness and recovery services, including but not limited to injury, health conditions, or property damage. Your use of The Good Place Wellness facilities is at your own risk.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Good Place Wellness reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you through your gym’s communication channels or via email. Your continued use of the services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
